We planned a stop at Wildlife Safari on our vacation trip down to Klamath Falls as neither my husband nor myself had ever visited the site before. Give it a try, the site is beautiful, especially this time of year and everyone we encountered was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. As expected, dangerous animals, lions, tigers, cheetahs, are not freely roaming the facility!

Also nice to see hoof stock free ranging on the vast open areas. It was fun to have the emus and some hoof stock come up to your car looking for a handout (feed can be purchased on site t o feed them). The self drive is easy, fun and of course safe.

The late afternoon drive allowed us to see animals that were not yet up and active in the morning.Īll in all it was a fun experience and we recommend it. Your entrance ticket allows you to drive through a second time and we did that later in the day. Both are extra cost options but well worth it. We did the cheetah photo experience as well as the lion feeding. It was fun to see so many in close view of our car.Īfter the drive through we had a very good lunch at their on site cafe then walked the village where many more animals are on view. The facility is known for its success in breeding these beautiful cats. We spent about 2 hours on the drive stopping often to take photos and just enjoy watching the animals. We arrived just after opening so we were the first car on the drive through safari. Visited last week and had a wonderful time.
